Research Help Wanted

Wanted: Resident or Student to work on a project with high resolution manometry.

This project will involve recruiting subjects of all ages to study the pressure patterns within the pharynx during normal swallow.

Primary Goal: Establish normative data for all age groups and sexes.

Responsibilities will include:

  1. A working knowledge of HRM
  2. A working knowledge of prior studies in pharyngeal monometry
  3. Assistance in completion of IRB forms
  4. Coordinating study subject recruitment
  5. Assisting in development of study design
  6. Coordination of Individual studies, data storage and analysis.
  7. Manuscript preparation
