Principal duties:

The Department of Surgery at the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Medicine and Public Health is seeking a fellowship trained vascular surgeon to join its vascular surgery practice with the UW Health Vascular Center at SwedishAmerican Hospital in Rockford, Illinois. In addition to providing a full spectrum of vascular care for the Rockford community, the selected candidate will play an integral role in enhancing overall vascular services at SwedishAmerican Hospital, including assisting with the enhancement of SwedishAmerican’s surgical operations to ensure the highest quality of perioperative vascular care for patients. The ideal candidate will be an outstanding clinician with a strong interest in developing and maintaining a successful comprehensive vascular program. The successful candidate will also participate in the education and teaching of medical students, general surgery residents, and fellows. The incumbent will also be an active teacher/mentor in the general surgery resident program.
