Requirements: Applicants must acquire a Wisconsin medical license and be board certified/eligible by the American Board of Otolaryngology.

Appointment level: Clinical Instructor

Operating privileges: University Hospital, VA Hospital, American Family Children’s Hospital, Meriter Hospital, and Mauston Hospital

This fellowship opportunity will provide experience with:

  • The surgical treatment of benign and malignant vocal folds lesions
  • Surgical and non-surgical management for neurologic, psychogenic, and inflammatory voice disorders, swallowing disfunction, and airway stenosis

Training that will be achieved includes:

  • Videostroboscopy
  • High Speed Videoendoscopy
  • Acoustic and aerodynamic voice analysis
  • Voice Quality of Life assessment
  • Transnasal esophagoscopy
  • Angiolytic lasers
  • Vocal cord injection
  • Laryngeal EMG
  • High-resolution manometry
  • Mastery of minimally invasive, office-based procedures
