November 1-2, 2011
Monona Terrace Community and Convention Center
Madison, Wisconsin
This course is designed for medical students, residents and fellows who aspire for a career in surgery, or junior faculty who wish to network and interact with women who have chosen a career in surgery. The program will focus on surgical career choices and pathways, mentorships, promotions and negotiations and family/work-life balance. The conference will offer solid career development perspective and strategies, but as importantly, will provide an opportunity for community building with a broadly representative group of women mentors.
