Clinical Specialties
Dr. Mahvi is certified by the American
Board of Surgery. His clinical interests include the surgical treatment
of upper gastrointestinal malignancies (liver, pancreas, and stomach); the
multidisciplinary treatment of breast cancer; and the combinations of surgery
and liver tumor abliation for colorectal cancers. Dr. Mahvi
is on the medical staff of the University of Wisconsin Comprehensive Cancer
Center's Comprehensive
Breast Clinic and the UW
Multidisciplinary Hepatobiliary Pancreas Clinic.
Research Interests
Dr. Mahvi has research interests in gene therapy for the treatment of cancer and the development of devices to treat liver cancer.
