Heather Neuman, MD, is one of the experts featured in an upcoming article in the publication of the American Society of Clinical Oncology, the ASCO Post. The article in the April 25 issue is titled, “Decision Aid Improves Breast Cancer Patients’ Knowledge of Surgical Options.” Dr. Neuman’s research, cited in the article, suggests that a web-based decision aid allowing women with early breast cancer to easily compare surgical treatment options ultimately helps them make more informed decisions. Having research selected for inclusion in the ASCO Post is a prestigious honor. Congratulations.
