The American Center was recently named a Blue Center for Distinction for bariatric surgery by Blue Cross Blue Shield. This designation is given to clinics that demonstrate quality care, treatment expertise, and better overall results for patients. Congratulations to all who helped the American Center earn this recognition, and special kudos to Connie Gilkey, RN, who put together the application for the program.
