Greenberg, MD, MPH, Associate Professor of Surgery and Director of the Wisconsin Surgical Outcomes Research Program (WiSOR), is referenced in the latest issue of The New Yorker. In 2010, the Department of Surgery formed WiSOR, a research program designed to support the development of individual faculty who are interested in health services research, with Dr. Greenberg at the helm. In this role, Dr. Greenberg has developed a formalized research center with three primary focuses, including performance and safety in surgical care, comparative effectiveness research, and qualitative research related to patient and provider interaction.
