Regular breast self-exams allow women to become self-aware of their breasts and help them better identify changes over time that would prompt further attention by their doctors, either through evaluation or imaging. That’s the message Lee Wilke, MD, professor of surgery and director of the UW Health Breast Center, shared with WISC-TV viewers.
