Jordan Wendt, 20, has been living with kidney failure since birth. He has gone through dozens of surgeries and a year ago was put on dialysis. Despite his health problems, Jordan continues to find time and energy to mow lawns for people who can’t do it themselves. Jordan’s best hope for a transplant is through a living kidney donor.

Robert Redfield, MD, assistant profession in the Division on Transplantation and a living donor specialist, appeared in a recent news story about Jordan, discussing the benefits of living donor kidneys for transplant patients.
