Anthony M D’Alessandro, MD, Professor of Surgery, University of Wisconsin, is featured in a follow up story which highlights the journey of one of our “Amazing Kids” on uwhealth.org. Dr. D’Alessandro’s patient, Will Andrews of Madison, was diagnosed with a life-threatening condition called bilary atresia. Consequently, Will survived not only one, but two liver transplants.
