The annual Strollin’ Colon exhibit — an inflatable, walk-through reproduction of a human colon — will tour Madison February 17-22. The three-dimensional, educational colon, which measures 12 feet long, 10 feet high and 10 feet wide, allows visitors to see polyps, ulcerative colitis, Crohn’s disease and different stages of colon cancer on a large scale. UW physicians will be on-site at the interactive exhibit to answer questions. On February 22, Drs. Gregory Kennedy and Eugene Foley from the Department of Surgery will accompany the Strollin’ Colon at East Towne Mall, with Dr. Kennedy answering questions 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., and Dr. Foley answering questions 12 p.m. to 2 p.m.

The Strollin’ Colon is sponsored by UW Carbone Cancer Center, UW Health Digestive Health Center and Gilda’s Club Madison. Find the full Strollin’ Colon tour schedule at UW Health online. Copyright © 2016 The Board of Regents of the University of Wisconsin System
