Don’t let winter keep you from enjoying the outdoors. Join Dr. David Schneider at 9 a.m. Saturday, February 8, for a snowshoe hike through Edna Taylor Conservation Park, 802 Femrite Drive in Madison. Dr. Schneider will first lead a discussion on thyroid nodules and surgery, then he will lead a snowshoe hike through Edna Taylor Conservation Park. The walk will occur rain or shine. Please bring your own snowshoes if possible.

Dr. David Schneider is an endocrine surgeon in the UW Department of Surgery, specializing in treating diseases of the thyroid, parathyroid and adrenal glands. He also conducts research on the optimization of cancer care in the United States, with a particular interest in endocrine cancer.
