Hand and Upper Extremity Surgery

Most of our plastic surgeons have advanced training in treatment of hand and upper extremity disorders as a result of birth defects, trauma or other disease processes.

Non-surgical and surgical treatment can be provided for many problems including: pediatric congenial hand defects, fractures and dislocations of the hand, repair of tendons and ligaments, nerve repair, treatment of nerve compressions such as carpal tunnel syndrome, treatment of hand tumors such as ganglion cysts, reconstruction after trauma or cancer treatment, and brachial plexus nerve problems.

We work closely with a dedicated group of hand therapists whose input is critical for a successful outcome after surgery.
