Allison SchaserGrad Intern/Trainee Allison is currently a first-year Doctoral student in the Department of Communicative Disorders at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, with a distributed minor in Neurophysiology. She obtained her BS in Speech Language Pathology at Miami University in 2007 and her MS in Communicative Disorders at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2009. Allison’s relevant work experience includes August 2007 to May 2009: Project Assistant, University of Wisconsin-Madison, under the supervision of Nadine Connor, PhD, Aging, Exercise, and Mechanism of Altered Tongue Function; August 2006 to May 2007: Student Researcher, Miami University, under the supervision of Susan Baker, PhD, Voice and Phonation Research; and August 2005 to May 2006: Student Researcher, Miami University, under the supervision of Susan Baker, PhD, Normative Study of Maximum Respiratory Pressures. Allison’s research interests include studying changes to the cranial musculature involved in voice and swallowing as a mechanism of aging, exercise, and disease. |
