Clinical Specialties

Dr. Haeberlin is board certified in general surgery and has a special interest in breast, thyroid, colorectal, and other minimally-invasive surgical procedures. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a member of the American Society of Military Surgeons. Dr. Haeberlin holds a number of military awards including a Joint Medical Unit Award, a National Defense Service Medal, and an Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal. During his service, he completed two military sponsored mini-fellowships in trauma at Shock Trauma in Baltimore (1995), and Ben Taub Hospital in Houston (2000). After completing his residency, he developed a program at Fort Bragg teaching 3rd and 4th year residents from Duke University School of Medicine and Walter Reed Medical Center advanced minimally invasive surgery including foregut, hindgut, spleen, pancreas, adrenal and emergency surgery. After completing his military service in 2002, Dr. Haeberlin continued his passion for education by teaching physician assistants at Marquette University.
