Katherine Law, MS
Katie Law is a PhD student in the Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering. Originally from McLean, Virginia, Katie traveled south to obtain her BS in Industrial Engineering from Clemson University. There she learned about how industrial engineering principles could be applied to the healthcare field. Following her bachelor’s degree, Katie continued her education at University of Wisconsin-Madison under the mentorship of Drs. Douglas Wiegmann and Carla Pugh to further understand how to improve the healthcare field. She completed her master’s degree in 2013 and is expected to complete her doctorate in 2016. Currently, she is working on evaluating resident performance on simulators under the Department of Defense grant. In her spare time, Katie enjoys cooking, watching movies and being outdoors.
