Megan Saucke, MA
Megan is a sociologist with a background in qualitative research. She conducts health services research with the goal of improving patients’ experiences and quality of life. Her current research projects center around decision-making processes, doctor-patient relationships, and provider communication during patient handoffs. Her skills include design and development of interview guides, focus groups, stakeholder meetings, and surveys; conducting in-depth and semi-structured interviews; facilitation of focus groups and stakeholder panels; inductive and deductive coding, and content analysis; stakeholder engagement; writing and editing; literature reviews; and regulatory compliance/IRB protocols. Some of the specific tools she uses include NVivo, REDCap, Qualtrics, and Endnote. Outside of work she enjoys choral singing, swing dancing, and bike polo.
