Dr. De Oliveira is certified by the American Board of Surgery, American Board of Thoracic Surgery and Royal College of Surgeons of Canada. His practice comprises all aspects of pediatric and adult cardiothoracic surgery with special interest in adult congenital cardiac surgery, aortic root reconstruction and replacement for aneurism, aortic valve sparing operations, Marfan Syndrome, management of infective endocarditis, intra cardiac reconstructive procedures and adult and pediatric heart and lung transplantation.

Research Interests

His research interests include myocardial protection, hypoplastic left heart syndrome physiology, and intracardiac fibrous body anatomy and reconstructive procedures.
