Education

  • PhD, Biochemistry, University of Wisconsin, Madison, WI, 1984

Research Interests

Dr. Hullett's research focuses on understanding the mechanisms, especially the role of TGFß-1, that contribute to extracellular matrix remodeling during chronic rejection. Other areas of study include gene therapy approaches to diabetes and the development of allograft tolerance. Studies continue on fetal tissue research. New studies involving the use of 1,25-dihydroxyvitamin D3 in transplantation are also underway.
