Application Guidelines

Thank you for your interest in University of Wisconsin - Madison Urology. We hope that this information will answer most of your questions about our program. Should you have further questions, we invite you to contact us at (608) 263-1358.

We will be participating in the AUA Match, which will be completed in January of 2008. We would ordinarily expect that if you are matched to our program, you would come here for PGY-1 as we have a strong preparatory program for you. We include emphasis on General Surgery with electives in Plastics, Anesthesia, Transplantation, and others.

To be considered for the program, please make sure the following materials reach our offices by September 30, 2007:

    Note: We will accept only those application materials sent electronically through ERAS.

  • three letters of recommendation
  • letter of support from your Dean
  • personal statement describing aspects of your background (such as academic honors, research experience, practical experience, extracurricular activities, etc.) that might give your application special merit.
