Educational Conferences

Urology Faculty

You are required to attend conferences on a regular basis:

Wednesday 7:30 a.m. Alternating: Indications, GU Imaging, Unknown Conference, Journal Club, Uropathology Weekly
Tuesday 12:30 p.m. Multidisciplinary Metabolic Stone Conference Weekly
Thursday 12:00 p.m. Multidisciplinary Cancer Conference Weekly
Thursday 4:00 p.m. Multidisciplinary Pediatric Conference Twice Monthly
Thursday 5:30 p.m. Urology Grand Rounds (including City Wide Morbidity and Mortality) Weekly

The Indications Conference begins the week with discussion of upcoming cases. This conference also includes didactic sessions in X-ray reading and case presentations.

The Urology Grand Rounds focus on basic pathophysiology, and Urology topics consistent with ACGME educational goals.

Madison area urologists, including those from St. Marys Hospital, participate in case presentations at Urology Grand Rounds. Visiting professors also lecture and present cases at this conference.

We also have an annual "Uehling Lecturer" visiting professor every Fall.
