Archive: Aaron Johnson Receives Awards at Dysphagia Research Society Meeting

On Saturday, March 6, at the Dysphagia Research Society Meeting in San Diego, Aaron Johnson, a graduate student in the laboratory of Dr. Nadine Connor, was awarded First Place for the Best Oral Presentation at the 3-day international meeting, and First Place in the New Investigator competition of the American Speech Language and Hearing Association Special Interest Division 13 (Swallowing and Swallowing Disorders) for his presentation “EFFECT OF CHRONIC HYPOGLOSSAL NERVE STIMULATION ON THREEDIMENSIONAL NEUROMUSCULAR JUNCTION MORPHOLOGY IN THE AGING RAT TONGUE.”

Aaron is a predoctoral fellow supported by our NIH-funded T32 Voice Research Training Program.
