Archive: Dr. Seth Dailey Provides a Breath of Fresh Air to a Patient with a Rare Airway Disorder

Seth H Dailey, MD recently treated an Illinois woman with a rare trachea disease that made breathing very difficult. Jodi Vogt had suffered through years of misdiagnoses until she was referred to Dr. Seth Dailey, an otolaryngologist who specializes in voice, airway and swallowing disorders. Dr. Dailey diagnosed Jodi with Idiopathic Subglottic Stenosis, a rare condition where the subglottis narrows or becomes constricted. Dr. Dailey fitted Jodi with a tracheal tube to improve her breathing and improve her quality of life.
