University of Wisconsin Department of Surgery Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons specialize in hand and microsurgery and provide a full range of hand surgical services for children and adults.

Expert surgeons are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week to take calls from referring physicians. We provide microsurgery and replantation services for patients with amputations and severe injuries of the hand.

Our board-certified surgeons also provide special surgical expertise for degenerative and congenital disorders and traumatic injuries of the hand and wrist.

Conditions our physicians treat include carpal tunnel syndrome, distal radius fractures, rheumatoid arthritis, extensor and flexor tendon injuries, brachial plexus problems, Dupuytren’s contracture, nerve injuries and many more.
