The Thoracic Surgery specialists in the Department of Surgery offer comprehensive specialty care for patients with all types of heart and thoracic diseases. We provide a complete range of services – from initial evaluation and management to highly specialized consultation for rare diseases, new surgical approaches, devices and technologies.

We offer an Advanced Lung Disease Program, where patients are seen in our multidisciplinary clinic that is staffed by specialists from medical oncology, thoracic surgical oncology, and radiation oncology.

We offer leading-edge treatment for a wide range of diseases, including benign esophageal conditions, Barrett’s esophagus and esophageal cancer. We also offer an innovative, minimally invasive surgical procedures and robitic surgery for many advanced conditions.
