Archive: UW voice expert assesses presidential candidate voice quality on WISC-TV

Katherine McConville, MA, CCCSLP, a clinical speech pathologist in the Division of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery and a clinician at the UW Health Voice and Swallow Clinics, joined Mark Koehn and Susan Siman on WISC-TV to offer her assessments of each U.S. presidential candidate’s voice quality. Kate discussed factors ranging from age to voice intensity and offered strategies to combat hoarseness.
