Archive: UW’s surgical coaching program gains attention, momentum

At the University of Wisconsin-Madison Department of Surgery, Caprice Greenberg, MD, MPH, leads the Wisconsin Surgical Outcomes Research Program (WiSOR), which aims to improve the quality, safety, effectiveness and efficiency of surgical care through research and innovation. One initiative within WiSOR adapts methodology and theory from the disciplines of education, music, athletics and executive coaching to develop a video-based coaching program for surgeons.
