We are seeking clinical fellows who demonstrate strengths in the following:
- Ability to analyze and synthesize information from a broad-based fund of knowledge in medical communication and voice science and disorders
- Ability to engage in evidence-based problem solving
- Motivation to achieve an advanced level of clinical competence in prevention, screening, evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of patients with voice and swallowing disorders
- The ability to communicate effectively and professionally in a multidisciplinary medical setting
- Self-evaluation resulting in actively identifying steps to develop new skills and acquire knowledge
- Ethical, responsible, and professional conduct
In addition to clinical expectations, fellows will be expected to participate in the following:
- Conduction and completion of your own clinical research project
- Weekly multi-disciplinary case conference, with regular clinical case presentations
- Outreach activities
