Offering Post-Doctoral Training Opportunities
The University of Wisconsin Vascular Surgery Research Training Program is a multidisciplinary and collaborative program that will co-train young physician/surgeons who have chosen to be vascular specialists, along with PhD scientists who have a research interest in vascular disease. Our goal is to accelerate the performance of basic, translational and clinical research for vascular disease by producing future surgeons, scientists and engineers who will meet the great need for innovation in treatments for the growing population of patients.
The program will provide trainees with multiple opportunities for research activities in the broad areas listed below and will also foster the development of knowledge, competence, skills, professional attitudes, and experience required for successful academic careers in independent NIH-funded research.
A diverse group of trainers support the program and offer training opportunities in the following vascular surgery-related research areas:
- Vascular Biology
- Drug Delivery
- Vascular Outcomes Research
This training program is supported through a T32 training grant from NIH, NHLBI(T32HL110853).
We are currently seeking applicants to fill post-doctoral trainee positions.
