Aaron grew up in Maine and Wyoming alongside 3 siblings. For high school, he attended Burke Mountain Academy in Vermont where he trained to be a world-ranked ski racer. He then attended Middlebury College in Vermont where he skied on their Division I NCAA Ski Team. His medical degree was completed at the University of Washington in Seattle. He and his wife, Mira, picked Madison for its accessibility to big city events but small city feel. They enjoy skiing, biking, kiteboarding and boating on Lake Mendota, football games and spending time with family.
