Benjamin Andrew, MD

Community General Surgery Resident

Benjamin Andrew is originally from Viroqua, Wisconsin, a son of a rural general surgeon. He graduated from UW-Madison with highest distinction in 2010 with a degree in biochemistry and a certificate in classical humanities. After his undergraduate studies he completed a year of research at the Blood Institute of Wisconsin in the laboratory of Dr. Debra Newman studying platelet activation. He then obtained his medical degree from Chicago Medical School in 2015. In his spare time he enjoys attending UW sporting events, traveling, cooking, and playing a variety of sports including basketball and tennis.
