Research Specialist
Chloe’ Mayfield, B.S., is a Research Specialist in WiSOR with a background in helping persons with disabilities and quantitative research methods. She completed her Bachelor of Science at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2022 studying Rehabilitation Psychology with certificates in Athletic Healthcare & Leadership. Before her position at WiSOR she has gained clinical hands-on experience working with patients in different sectors. Such as she worked at a nursing home in the Memory Care Unit with patients that suffered from Dementia and Alzheimer’s. In addition to volunteering with people with disabilities helping them set and reach personal goals. She has helped to conduct quantitative research through an internship looking into readmission rates at the hospital identifying causes for them. In addition to observing affective therapy techniques for vascular surgery patients.
Her research focus is investigating preventive and long-term interventions. To potentially benefits persons health related qualities of life. As well as helping persons that with disabilities such as chronic illnesses and physical disabilities.
