Associate Research Specialist

Connor Nikolay, BS, joined the Department of Surgery in 2019 as the Research and Policy Specialist for the Surgical Collaborative of Wisconsin. He is responsible for compiling reports and reviewing grant applications. Connor graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Sociology with an emphasis in Policy Analysis and minors in Public Health and Political Science. Previously Connor worked as a Policy Intern for Wisconsin Family Ties, where he gathered county mental health data and lobbied for increased access to care for children with disabilities. He also worked in London with Irish in Britain conducting a targeted public health campaign to improve cardiovascular health of members of the Irish community living within the United Kingdom.
