Jennie Embree, MS
Research Program Coordinator
Jennie Embree is a research program coordinator at WiSOR with extensive experience managing clinical trials. She received an M.S. from Oregon State University in 1998 where she studied historic and cultural aspects of the near environment within the College of Family and Consumer Sciences. Jennie joined her first clinical trials research team in 2002 and has held a WOC appointment for research at the Iowa City Veterans Administration Medical Center since 2012. Immediately before joining WiSOR, she was the coordinator of the Center for Advancing Multimorbidity Science and the director of the Preoperative Pain and Rehabilitation Education (PrePARE) study within the University of Iowa College of Nursing. Currently, Jennie is working with Dr. Corrine Voils’ research team, providing project management assistance for VA and NIH-funded studies involving treatment adherence, behavioral interventions to improve long-term weight loss, and pharmacogenomic testing.
