Natalia Arroyo, MPH

Assistant Researcher

Natalia Arroyo is an Assistant Researcher in the Wisconsin Surgical Outcomes Research Program (WiSOR) in the Department of Surgery. Her current projects are based on outcomes in emergency general surgery transfers and otolaryngological disorders. She obtained her Master of Public Health in Public Health Policy and Management from Loyola University Chicago, where she performed health services research through a PCORI-funded project. Following her MPH program, she worked at the UW Carbone Cancer Center in Cancer Epidemiology Studies with a breast cancer and environmental exposures research consortium and a collaborative prevention and outcomes data shared resource. Her skills include project management, qualitative and quantitative research methods (Qualtrics and REDCap), data analysis (R, SAS, and NVivo), and manuscript preparation. Outside of work, she enjoys running, yoga, paddle boarding, playing with her dog, and traveling.
