Oksana Babchenko, MD

Plastic Surgery Resident

Oksana was born in Moscow, Russia and came to the United States when she was eight years old. She grew up in Shrewsbury, Massachusetts and went to Brown University for undergraduate. She got her medical degree from University of Massachusetts School of Medicine in 2014. An avid painter, she developed a love of plastic surgery because she enjoys the blend of using her aesthetic eye and technical ability for the optimal surgical outcome. Her research focuses include the psychology of surgical education. After residency, she hopes to pursue a career in academic plastic surgery offering a breadth of plastic surgery but focusing on total and sub-total nasal reconstruction, breast reconstruction, gender surgery, and lymphedema.
