Clinical Specialties

Dr. Misurelli serves as the Director of Audiology with the Division of Otolaryngology, as well as Clinical Audiology Supervisor for UW Health. The UW Health Audiology Clinics specialize in diagnostic testing and communication options for adult and pediatric patients with hearing loss. Dr. Misurelli’s clinical interests include hearing aids, adult and pediatric diagnostic testing, and cochlear implants.

Research Interests

Dr. Misurelli’s overarching research goal is to translate research findings into advancements in clinical care and improvement in long-term outcomes for individuals with hearing loss. Her current research investigates questions related to perceptive versus objective measures of hearing for individuals who use amplification and implantable devices, as well as the factors that impact use of these devices.
