Dr. Acher is a Hepatobiliary surgeon and Surgical Oncologist, specializing in minimally invasive and open surgical approaches to treating pancreas, biliary, and liver cancers, colorectal liver metastases, luminal cancers, neuroendocrine tumors and retroperitoneal sarcoma.

Research Interests

Dr. Acher’s research interests include: radiologic histologic correlation in pancreas, liver, and biliary cancers, the use of radiomics to improve staging imaging and surgical planning, the use of radiomics and pathologic-radiologic correlation to assess tumor response to systemic or locoregional therapies, and applying systems engineering approaches to streamline medical processes and systems.
