Emily Zona, MD

Plastic Surgery Resident

Emily Zona is originally from Medfield, Massachusetts, and earned her degree in neuroscience at Boston College, where she also served as the Director and Chief Choreographer of the Dance Organization of Boston College. She was drawn to plastic and reconstructive surgery for its blend of technical precision, creative problem-solving, and the opportunity to work with patients and their families to improve form, function, and quality of life. Her academic interests include microsurgery, global surgery, and surgical education. Outside of the hospital, she enjoys running and biking along Madison’s paved trails, hiking in national parks, and exploring new restaurants.
