Christopher Kujalowicz, MD

Plastic Surgery Resident

Christopher was born and raised in the western suburbs of Chicago, IL. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Texas at Austin and earned his medical doctorate from the Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine. During medical school, Christopher completed a 70-daycross-country bike ride with Texas 4000 for Cancer, where he was introduced to the world of reconstructive surgery through the stories of patients he met along the way. Drawn to the dynamic nature and broad scope of the specialty—as well as the opportunity to address functional and biomechanical challenges—he found a natural fit in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. His research interests include hand and peripheral nerve reconstruction, trauma and limb salvage outcomes, and patient safety. Christopher is an avid outdoorsman and spends his free time hiking, riding his bike, fishing, rock climbing, and planning upcoming backpacking trips. He is a former gymnast and still enjoys flipping in the gym. Around Madison, he can often be found exploring new restaurants, watching sunsets at the Terrace, or enjoying live music at the Sylvee.
