By completion of this course participants will:
- Identify patient populations who may benefit from high-resolution manometry (HRM) in clinical practice.
- List steps involved in catheter passage, swallowing protocol and on-line documentation during high-resolution manometry data collection.
- Demonstrate manual analysis of high-resolution manometry plots targeting velopharyngeal, tongue base region and UES measures.
- Identify physiologic landmarks and anomalies on high-resolution manometry plots and correlate to events identified on swallowing imaging studies.
