Clinical Specialties
Cate is a physician assistant in the Department of Surgery at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health, Division of Surgical Oncology and a member of the UW Health Breast Center.
She specializes in caring for individuals with benign breast diseases as well as patients with post-operative concerns. She also works with patients who are at an increased risk of breast cancer due to family or personal history in the PATHS (Prevention, Assessment and Tailored Health Screening) clinic. This clinic discusses screening and risk reduction strategies and formulates a patient centered care plan, works closely with the oncology genetics department and offers multi-disciplinary visits for new patients.
