Clinical Specialties

Dr. Cho specializes in the treatment of infants and children with craniofacial differences including craniosynostosis, cleft lip and palate, jaw and facial asymmetries (e.g., malocclusion, micrognathia, Pierre-Robin sequence, hemifacial/craniofacial microsomia), jaw and facial tumors (e.g., fibrous dysplasia), facial trauma, speech disorders, ear abnormalities and craniofacial syndromes (e.g., Crouzon, Apert, Pfeiffer, Saethre-Chotzen, Muenke, Treacher Collins, Beckwith-Wiedemann). He also performs a wide range of pediatric and adult reconstructive surgery as well as cosmetic surgery.

Research Interests

Dr. Cho’s research is focused on surgical outcomes in cleft and craniofacial patients, standardized clinical care pathways, quality improvement, and improving equity in plastic surgery training and clinical care.  He also uses his background in polymer science and biomaterials to develop new technologies and devices for use in craniofacial surgery.
