James Barrett, MD

General Surgery Resident

Dr. James Barrett is a categorical 2nd year resident in general surgery. Although originally from Utah, James spent over three years living abroad in various locations including Israel, Germany, and South Korea. James founded two companies during medical school and enjoys innovation projects. His research interests include behavioral modification and improving patient outcomes through smartphone technology.

James enjoys spending time with his wife, Genny, and their four children. He also enjoys basketball, video games, and Korean food.
