My work focuses on necroptosis and how this pathway may contribute to tissue generation and inflammation during abdominal aortic aneurysm development. Specifically, I will be focusing on PKCd, RIP1 and RIP3 and how this pathway can be altered/inhibited to decrease inflammation and prevent the progression of aneurysm formation.
