Nicholas Albano, MD
Plastic Surgery Resident
Nick was drawn to plastic surgery for the innovation that the field relies upon. He grew up in Cortlandt Manor, New York and played baseball on scholarship for Lafayette College in Easton, Pennsylvania. He obtained his medical degree from the New York University School of Medicine. He has taken a vested interest in both basic science and clinical research, completing productive research years in both medical school and residency. His research focuses include microsurgery training and education, migraine surgery outcomes, and medical device development. After residency, he will pursue a fellowship in microsurgery and a career in general reconstruction in an academic setting.
