Research Interests
Dr. Rahman’s research interests focus on early-onset colorectal cancer, particularly the role of the tumor immune microenvironment and the gut microbiome in cancer development and progression. His work explores how immune pathways may contribute to the distinct biology of colorectal cancer in younger patients. His overarching goal is to translate these biological insights into more personalized care for patients with colorectal cancer.
