Ting Zhou, PhD

Research Associate

Vascular disease is the leading cause of death globally, but many of the associated diseases lack effective pharmaceutical treatment. Ting’s long-term career goal is to contribute to the development of innovative pharmacotherapy technologies for vascular diseases.

After receiving her Ph.D. in 2015, Ting joined Dr. Bo Liu’s lab as research associate. Now she is working on signaling pathways in smooth muscle cell death during the pathogenesis of abdominal aortic aneurysm and therapeutic targeting. Besides working in lab, Ting provides a free dog-walking service.
