Together with our ‘100 Years of Wisconsin Surgery‘ celebration, we’re excited to launch the 1924 Society. Comprised of current and former faculty, the residents and fellows who trained with the department and friends who have supported the department since its inception in 1924, members of the 1924 Society have made significant, annual financial commitments to the Department of Surgery.
These gifts sustain the department and allow for the advancement of new surgical research, education and patient care priorities and initiatives within the University of Wisconsin Department of Surgery and across its divisions.
Supporters who give $1,000 or more to any Department of Surgery fund (or combination of funds) in a calendar year (Jan. 1-Dec. 31) will automatically become a member of the 1924 Society. Click here to contribute to the our Department of Surgery Greatest Need Fund or explore our other funds listed on this page.
Members receive invitations to special events, bi-annual e-newsletters from the Department of Surgery Chair, and the satisfaction of knowing that their investment in the department and its faculty, staff, and residents is having an immediate, transformative impact.
We invite you to make a meaningful contribution and become a valued member of the 1924 Society. Should you have any inquiries or require additional details, please feel free to reach out to Kristen Wolfe, Senior Director of Development, at Kristen.Wolfe@supportuw.org or 608-260-5386.
